Questions concerning the hydraulic- and spindle lift systems of Ergoswiss

What is the difference between my HX- and SX-System?

HX = hydraulic lift system / drive technology = with oil / consisting of: hand crank / motor + pump + lift elements

SX = spindle lift system / drive technology = spindle-linear actuator / consisting of: = push button / controller + spindle lifting column

If I choose a lifting element with max. permissible load of 150kg, does my 4-legged table then have e.g. a total max. permissible loading capacity of 4x 150kg?

No, the max. permissible total load is not solely dependent on the number of lifting elements. The max. permissible total load is also limited by the selected pump or controller. See System Combination Tables:

Do all my lift systems have the same speeds?

No, the speed of a hydraulic lift system is dependent on the combination of the respective pump type + lifting element type.The speed of a spindle lift system is dependent on the combination of the respective controller type + lifting column type. See System Combination Tables:

What materials are my Ergoswiss linear units and table legs made of?

All our lifting elements are made of aluminum, except the SE, TA and TU. These are made of steel.

Are my Ergoswiss lifting elements rust-free?

Yes, our lifting elements have undergone a special process, they are therefore rust-free.If you require any details of the individual components, please contact us.

Which IP protection class do my Ergoswiss products have?

Motor and operation = IP 30

Controller = IP 20

New: Hand switch Memory with raised IP protection class available.

How are my Ergoswiss systems certified.

Our lift systems have been developed in accordance with the machinery regulations and certified according to the EU/US directives. If you require details about the individual components, please contact us.

Where can I get all information concerning the ESD-guidelines of Ergoswiss products?

You can easily contact us by telephone or E-Mail, we will then gladly send you all important information concerning the ESD directives.

What mains voltage does my Ergoswiss lift system require?

Mains voltage CH/EU = 230V / US/CA = 110V / 24V control (for battery solution)

With which mains plug variants can I order my Ergoswiss lift system?

Mains plug = CH / EU / UK and US

What room temperature must I observe?

Our systems are designed and tested for a room temperature between +10 and +40 degrees Celsius.

Can I also order an Ergoswiss lift system with a battery solution?

Yes, we also offer a battery solution. Please contact us directly about it.

I need a mobile solution. Does Ergoswiss offer that?

Yes, we provide all components for a mobile solution, such as e.g. the battery, crank and the lifting rollers.

Are drawings and assembly instructions freely available for my Ergoswiss lift systems?

I have an error message on the display, what should I do now?

On our website under "Downloads" you will find all operating instructions. In the operating instructions all error messages are described and explained.

Can I also operate my electrical lifting system by hand during a power failure?

With the hydraulic lift system, in an emergency you could dismantle the motor from the pump and operate the pump with a hand crank. With the spindle lift system this is not possible, because the option with the hand crank is not provided.

Must I carry out maintenance on my lifting system after a few years?

The lift system is maintenance-free if used as intended.

Is my Ergoswiss lift system suitable for continuous operation?

The system is not suitable for continuous operation. Please observe the switch-ON duration (see operating instructions).

Can I freely choose the installation position for Ergoswiss products?

HX: Install the lifting elements only vertical, in doing so the installation position is irrelevant. ATTENTION: Reset force must always be ensured.

SX: Install the lifting elements only vertical, in doing so the installation position is irrelevant. ATTENTION: Observe max. permissible tensile load.

SLX: Lifting element can be installed vertically or horizontally, in doing so the installation position is irrelevant.
